SAM+NENA {ENGAGEMENT}

"Unless it is mad, passionate, extraordinary love,
it is a waste of time.
There are too many mediocre things in life.
Love, should not be one of them."

When I realized I wanted to be a photographer, what I was most excited about was being able to take engagement photos for my family.  My cousin Nena and I have been extremely close our entire lives. She was there for me when I was at my worse and also at my best. I was so happy for her the day I found out she was engaged! I was even more happy that she was engaged to the man of her dreams :) Sam has gotten so close to our family in the last year and I couldn't think of a better man to marry this beautiful lady!

Nena was pretty set on the theme of her wedding. We have always been in love with the 50's style, so it did not surprise me that she wanted to go for a retro/vintage themed wedding. She wanted the same style for her engagement shoot and I think her and Sam pulled it off nicely! This past couple months have been so hectic and busy. Time has flown by so fast and the wedding is less than a month away. We just came back from her bachelorette party in San Francisco, and I finally had time to post these photos. I hope you guys enjoy them! :)

*A SPECIAL THANKS TO THE TALENTED, GRAPHIC DESIGNER, SOPHINIE SOM FOR EDITING THE SPRECKELS THEATER SIGN FOR ME. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!*
