I keep getting questions asking if I would take pictures of weddings. At this point in my life, I know that I am definitely not ready for that. I could not imagine what a wedding photographer goes through. The 1000+ edited pictures, the stress, and not to mention the responsibility of not missing any "important" shots of one of the most important days of their entire lives! I'm getting anxiety just thinking about it. I will not say that I would never do it though. If I could suck it up and trust myself enough, I would definitely do that. I love love looooove weddings! Wedding/Event planning is my ultimate dream job! If I could crash weddings for a living,  I totally would. I know some might think it's super boring, or so repetitive, but it never gets old for me. It really warms my heart to see two people in love. With that said, here are a couple photos of two good friends of mine, Geslee & Bobby. They live in Vegas, but were in town for the weekend, so I had to get a few quick shots of the newly engaged couple & their super adorable pup, Nikko!

I CAN SMELL CHRISTMAS!

Christmas is not too far away and I have three families to photograph before then. This year seriously flew by. I wish there was more time for everything, but i'm still loving every second of it. My first holiday Family photo is of my sister's family. Everyone looked great. Emily Jane was so antsy, that it was hard to keep her still. Either way, I loved how most of the pictures turned out. I don't think I would want Emily to look too "normal" anyway, she's way too full of life! & Mia was cute as ever! 

MAKE UP BY JACKIE.

I used to love buying make up all the time, and had a bad habit of buying eye shadows I probably end up using once. I think the colors make me happy -_____-.  I stopped buying make up for a while now, and stick with a simple eye liner, blush, chapstick, and i'm good to go! I do still enjoy getting ready on special occasions when the bf takes me out :) . I love being a girl.


Anyway, I recently was contacted by my cousin who happens to be an amazing make-up artist.  She asked me if I could take a couple of shots of her models for her portfolio, and of course I said yes! She was going for an 80's look, which I thought turned out awesome! After the shoot, It made me want to start playing with my make up again! Jackie is super talented and this is just a glimpse of her amazing work.

NENA+SAM+PEYTON

This was my second time seeing Baby Peyton since the hospital, and boy did she grow! She was super super adorable, and during the shoot, all you kept hearing from me was "awwwwww", "ahhhhhhh!", "omg, she's so cute!" I was so nervous before the shoot, since Peyton was my first newborn that I have photographed professionally. As challenging as it was, I am so happy with how the photos turned out! I only hope that I learn from all my mistakes and get better with every newborn I photograph! Ok, now let's get on with the pictures!!

XAVIER'S BAPTISM.

I've been meaning to post this a few weeks ago. This was my first time taking pictures at a baptism. I was actually at the corner with all the other photographers, fighting to be up front, and that was pretty interesting. I actually enjoyed it. It was a short ceremony and the kids were all so cute in their white outfits. Xavier is 3 years old and an amazing kid. Always smiling, and ALWAYS entertaining. By the way, the church was gorgeous!

PRETTY IN PINK.

HAPPY DECEMBER! This week has gone by so fast, it's insane. Actually, this whole year flew right by me! Buuuut, I love love love the holidays! I'm more than half way done with Christmas gifts, we put up our tree yesterday, my Dad will be in town for a short vacation here in San Diego, and December nights at Balboa Park is this weekend! I'm ready for the FREE museums, Christmas carolers, the gigantic christmas trees, the pretty lights, the hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and other yummy treats they have to offer!! Let the festivities begin!
