My good friend Evelyn & her sweet son Caydon were amazing to work with. I loooooooved spending time with both of them! Not only did I capture some beautiful photos of them, I got to catch up with an old friend. Evelyn has always supported everything that I do, and in a way saw something in me I sometimes failed to see. I believe friends like this don't come by so often, & you should always hang on to them. We are also currently shooting her pregnancy photos. If you stick around, you'll get to see more gorgeous photos of Evelyn & her growing family.

I didn't think that this day would come so soon, but I am so happy and excited for my best friend Jesse. We have been friends for literally half of my life. He doesn't know, but in some ways he's taught me how to love. To love unconditionally, and strongly, and with everything that you are. That even if in the back of your mind, the fear of getting hurt will hold you back, with love, there are no exceptions. You either give it your all, or eventually it will fail. I have no doubt in my mind his marriage will be amazing. Because whatever problems they will face, they will face it together, and I know he will always stand by her and love her right. I've known Micah for a while, but just recently have gotten to know her a lot more. She's an amazing woman. She's smart, driven, creative, classy, goofy like him, but most of all she's deeply in love with him. In short, Jesse has found his other half and I could not be more happy for the both of them. They had a photographer for their wedding, but I was able to snap a few shots. Enjoy :)

FOURTH OF JULY WAS AMAZING. The last time my family and I spent the entire day at the beach was probably when I was in elementary school. The weather was not too bad. The sun would come out here and there but it was very breezy, not humid and nasty like it has been lately throughout the week. (GROSS!) We arrived around 8am, which is considerably late, but we got lucky with a perfect spot overlooking the bay and the Coronado Bridge. I honestly would do it again next year. It feels good to be in the company of the people you love and just relaxing, eating, laughing, and talking about nonsense. I also cannot get enough of spending time with my nieces <3 We packed up a couple of hours before the fireworks and took our chairs to a better spot to view the show. As you will see below, we were thrilled to have front row seats to one of the most amazing shows that San Diego has to offer. :) We love our city.
